What do I know?

I have over 15 years of working in industry, mostly manufacturing and service providers. This has ranged from micro companies up to multinational corporations. Roles have included operations, planning, supply chain, audit, as well as working on numerous projects which crossed over with many other departments. The companies have been fast paced and customer focused, requiring rapid solutions and a detailed understanding of processes and how these can be improved to reduce costs, reduce resource usage and improve productivity.


For the last 12 years, I have run a successful training and consulting company. We've helped hundreds of students gain post degree qualifications, in a very wide range of subjects including leadership, strategy, supply chain, project management etc. We have also assisted a wide range of companies make improvements to their strategic and operational activities. Tailored in house work as well as training tied to specific areas of interest have seen improvements in profits, efficiency and strategic direction.


Personally, I have a Masters in Procurement and Supply and MCIPS (Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply - post degree level diploma). I also have qualifications in audit, packaging, and I'm a qualified first aider.


My approach is plain English and concise, getting to the heart of the situation and being open about both the pros and cons of any solution. We are not part of another company, so all solutions are what genuinely seem to be a good option, rather than with an view to a commission.
